Refund Policy

Summary: You have 7 days from your first payment to request a refund, prorated based on actual usage. Renewal charges are non-refundable.

1. 7-Day Right of Withdrawal

New customers benefit from a 7-day right of withdrawal starting from the date of their first payment. During this period, you may cancel your subscription and receive a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your billing period.

This right applies to all services:

  • Professional Email Hosting plans
  • Managed Database Service plans
  • Administration Console subscriptions
  • Any bundled service packages

2. How the Prorated Refund Works

The refund amount is calculated as follows:

  • We determine the number of days between your purchase date and your refund request date.
  • The daily cost of your plan is calculated (total price / number of days in the billing cycle).
  • The amount for the days used is deducted, and the remaining balance is refunded.

Example: You purchase a monthly plan at $30/month on March 1st and request a refund on March 4th (3 days used). Daily rate = $30 / 30 days = $1/day. Refund = $30 - ($1 x 3) = $27 refunded.

3. Renewal Charges — Non-Refundable

The 7-day right of withdrawal applies only to the first payment. All subsequent renewal charges (monthly or annual) are final and non-refundable.

It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged. We send a reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal.

4. Other Exceptions

Outside of the 7-day withdrawal period, refunds may be issued solely at our discretion in these cases:

  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts will be fully refunded.
  • Service Not Delivered: If a paid service was not provisioned within 48 hours of payment and we are unable to resolve the issue, you are eligible for a full refund.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@it14.org.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your service remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further charges will be applied after the current period ends.
  • If within the 7-day withdrawal window (first payment only), you receive a prorated refund as described above.
  • If after the 7-day window or on a renewal, no refund is issued.
  • You have 30 days after the end of your subscription to download or export your data.

6. How to Request a Refund

To exercise your 7-day right of withdrawal or report a billing issue:

  • Step 1: Send an email to support@it14.org with the subject line "Refund Request."
  • Step 2: Include your account email address, the service in question, and the date of purchase.
  • Step 3: Our support team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us at support@it14.org before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing disputes directly and promptly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
